We discovered these fabulous bi-lingual calendars last year, and we’re so excited to bring them back. These page-a-day calendars present words and basic phrases to children in English and a second language.

Each month introduces one or two animals, two colors, and five basic phrases. These vocabulary builders appear one day at a time and are repeated every week. By month’s end, children have heard these common words at least four times. Since children learn through repetition, before long they’ll be shouting out ‘el perro!’ in Spanish or “gŏu!” in Chinese when they see a dog.

The elegant, playful graphics feature colorful silhouettes of nineteen different ‘four-legged friends”—such as dogs, cats, horses, and bunnies—that will delight children ages 3 and up.
