Push to Pop Puzzle Happy Hens
Details
Spring is popping up all over, and so are these happy little hens! Delight toddlers with a new type of wooden puzzle that teaches cause and effect and number recognition. Press a numbered button to pop the chicken out of the frame, revealing the same number of eggs and feathers pictured underneath! Kids practice shape recognition as they return each hen to its unique place. Pieces magnetize in place so they're less likely to fall out and get lost under the couch.

Why We Love It
Folks often claim that the toddler years are the hardest to find toys for. They've progressed beyond the basics but aren't yet ready for complex games and toys. At this age the best toys take fundamental skills like hand-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, and cognitive reasoning, and push them even further. Pattern blocks, building sets with more elaborate elements, pull toys rather than push toys, vehicles with more interactive elements, and first pretend play sets that mirror the grownup world are all developmentally appropriate for a growing child while still being safe for the under-3 crowd.
