Sleeping Queens is a whimsical, witty, and deceptively challenging game, perfect for pack-and-go fun for middle grade students. Great strategy game for kids with wonderful artwork. Kids love to play again and again. Good for math and visual discrimination.
Use strategy, quick-thinking and a little luck to rouse the sleeping queens from their royal slumbers. But watch out for wicked potions and dastardly dragons! The player who wakes the most queens wins! Deluxe anniversary edition includes new queens and kings, plus a sticker sheet!
Directions:
Place queen cards face down in a pile. Deal 5 red-backed cards to players. Player takes one action: Play a king, play a knight, play a sleeping potion, or play a jester. Each action does a different function. Discard cards and re-draw to have 5 cards. Winner is the one with most queen cards or points.
